To use it, first find your aquarium width in the top row, and then the height in the row directly below it. Follow the height column down and read off the aquarium capacity where it coincides with the length of your aquarium. Example If your aquarium is 24in x 12in x 15in (61cm x 30cm x 38cm) L x W x H, you would find 12" (30cm) in the top row, then 15" (38cm) in the second row (under the 12" (30cm) column). You would then follow down the 15" (38cm) column to the 24" (61cm) row and where the 2 points meet you will find the capacity of your aquarium, in this example it's 62.7 Liters (13.8 imperial gallons / 16.6 US gallons).
