One of the easiest gouramis to breed provided the pair are in good condition and of adult size.
The dorsal fin of the male tapers to a point, whilst the female will be fatter in the body with the many hundreds of eggs she is carrying.
Once hatched feed heavily with infusoria and, about the second week, with brine shrimp as well.
