The task of creating and maintaining a simulated natural environment within the confines of a small aquarium should not be a problem for you if you're prepared and set up the tank carefully and make regular tests to ensure that a balance is being maintained.

Once a suitable environment has been achieved, the successful breeding of fish, and the fascination of watching the fry develop is ample reward for the time and trouble taken.
